2009 Audition Requirements
Audition information for the 2009 season is being prepared and will be ready soon. In general, the following rules will apply:
ALL AUDITIONS REQUIRE AN APPOINTMENT. Equity actors who are unable to schedule an audition during the time reserved for full Equity members may schedule an audition during any of the times listed for non-Equity auditions.
2-2-2
The "two, two, two" rule is as follows:
Be prepared to deliver a TWO-minute (max) monologue from any Shakespeare play.
Bring TWO recent headshots.
Bring TWO up-to-date resumes.
Exception: Children auditioning for minor roles should prepare one monologue, one minute in length and need not have memorized it; reading is acceptable.
Callbacks will probably be conducted at the time of auditions. Final casting decisions will be made by the end of March.
If cast, performers must be available for rehearsals and performances from mid-June through the end of the Festival. Limited housing is available.
Specific questions regarding auditions or scheduling needs should be directed to Managing Director Robert Duha at 517-788-5032 or to Artistic Producer John Neville-Andrews at andrews9801@sbcglobal.net.
